Burn Permits can be obtained from the fire department free of charge. Please bring a photo ID with you at time of application.
- Permits are good for one calendar year.
 There is no burning of leaves in the City of Walled Lake- No burning of construction, trash, hazardous, or other non-organic materials.
- A functioning garden hose must be kept within 25 feet of the fire.
- If a complaint is registered, the Walled Lake Fire Department must respond to investigate and can recind the permit at any time.
- There is no burning after dark.
